Jack Waters Dies Sept. 27
Graveside funeral services were held Friday, September 29, For Fines Norman "Jack" Waters, 81, who died at the Veterans Administration hospital in Des Moines on Wednesday, September 27. The Rev. Ron Mooberry of Conrad, Iowa, conducted the 1:30 rites at the Fremont Cemetery in Clarke County.
Fines Norman Waters was born September 27, 1896, in Linn County, Missouri, son of Charles Newton Waters and Rozann Yadon Waters. He was married to Malvia Fouche on June 15, 1926, in Oakland, California. One child was born to this union.
He was a farmer for many years prior to retirement.
Survivors include a son, Ralph Waters and wife Donna of Des Moines; two grandchildren and one brother, Hugh Waters.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Malvia, two brothers and one sister.
