Flora Ethel Hayes

Mrs. Flora Ethel Hayes, age 28, the wife of A. L. Hayes died at her home, 504 South 5th Street of Typhiod fever, Wednesday afternoon at 2:45 O'Clock. Mrs Hayes had been sick for a little more than three weeks. The family moved to this city in April. Mrs. Hayes madien name was Flora E. Adkins. She was born in Green Castle Township April 24, 1881, her parents being Mr. & Mrs. W.H. Adkins. She was married to Mr. Hayes in Montour, Iowa. In addtion to her husband, Mr. Hayes is survied by the folling five children: Ada, Glen, Earl, Bertha and Ellen. Funeral services will be held at the residence at 10 O'clock Saturday morning and at the LeGrand Christian Church at 2 O'Clock in the afternoon. Interment will be in the LeGrand Cemetery.

  Last week W.H. Adkins of Brentwood received the sad intelligence of his daughter, Mrs. Flora Hayes of Marshalltown, Iowa. Mrs. Hayes leaves her husband and three small children.
