Flora F. Treat

Flora was the daughter of William W. and Nellie A. (Francis) Hallenbeck. She married Frank Morris Treat, on 29 June 1908 in Leon. They moved to Nowata, Oklahoma, where Frank tried his hand at oil production in the field. Flora's uncle Myron Marcellus Francis worked in the oil industry. This was short lived, as Frank became a teacher in Rochester, NY by 1916, and at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana by 1917. Later, Frank taught as an educator for the State Dept. in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Frank died in 1950, and was buried back in Leon, New York. Flora's last residence was in Mill Valley. She died of a stroke at Letterman General Hospital in San Francisco. Frank and Flora had two children, Frank Morris Treat, Jr. and Charlotte Inez Treat.
