About Florence Crishon
Florence and her twin sister were raised by an older sister after being orphaned as a small child when both her parents died. She was married and had two children: Marie (1908) and George (1910). After her husband died, she emigrated to America in 1912, leaving Marie and George with her husband's parents. She settled in Youngstown, Ohio where she lived with friends. During this time, she worked at The Mazda Lamp Company. Later, she became a live-in domestic for a wealthy family in Youngstown.
Florence met Nicholas Crishon through mutual friends, and married him on June 16, 1918. Nicholas was a widower with two children: Olympia (or "Jane", 1912) and Romulus (1911). Florence and Nicholas had three children together: Clementine (or "Clemme", 1920), Aurora (or "Rorie", 1925) and Delores (or "Doe", 1930).
In 1920, when Clemme was six weeks old, Florence sailed back to Romania and brought Marie and George back to America. The whole family then settled in Sharon, Pennsylvania where Nicholas lived and worked. They lived at the address: 8 Superior Street, Sharon, Pennsylvania, Telephone #1870 from 1918 on. The property was sold after Florence died in 1978.
