Florence Leavitt was the daughter of Henry M. Leavitt.2 She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Sir Horace George Proctor-Beauchamp, 6th Bt., son of Sir Thomas William Brograve Proctor-Beauchamp, 4th Bt. and Hon. Catherine Esther Waldegrave, on 15 November 1892.2 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Harry Francis Darell, son of Edward Tierney Gilchrist Darell and Amy Schuster, on 12 August 1915.1 She and Lt.-Col. Sir Horace George Proctor-Beauchamp, 6th Bt. were divorced in 1915.2 She died on 2 June 1931.1

- services to the Belgians in the Great War.
- The perfect wife of Lt. Colonel Harry Francis
- Darell D.S.O., J.P. for the county of Wilts who
- served in the Rifle Brigade in the N.W. frontier war of 1897
- commanded the 16th St. Pancras Battn. the Rifle
- Brigade in the Great War from April 1915 to July 1917 and
- received the D.S.O. for gallentry in action at the Battle of
- the Somme 1916 and a sword of honour from the citizens of
- St. Pancras - was born the son of Edward Darell at Fretherne
- Glos. 18th Aug 1872 and died 20th July 1934.
- Near this Darell Chapel their ashes lie.
