Info from her daughter, Phyllis Anderson: Florence came out to South Africa in 1905 to help her sister Annie Austin with her baby Dorothy. As a baby, Dorothy had a fall which caused her to be slightly retarded. (As an adult, Dorothy lived at Town Hill Hospital in Pietermaritzburg. Florence met Willie Ekins in Durban. She lived at 130 Brand Road, and he lived at 60 Clark Road, very close to each other. They were married by Rev Fairbourne on 4 Jan 1913. The witnesses were Bert Largerwell and Jack Austin.
