Florence "Mattie" Baker

HUNTSVILLE TIMES January 26, 1975 Mrs. Florence COWAN, 80, of 2411 11th St., died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Cave Springs Baptist Church. Burial will be in Byrd Cemetery, Laughlin-Service Funeral Home in charge. Survivors include three sons, David N. COWAN, Bay Town, TX; Chester R. COWAN, Graysville, SC; Clifton O. COWAN, Camden, SC; four daughters, Mrs. Thelma GLOVER, Mrs. Rachel PARKER, both of Huntsville; Mrs. Lorene PINKSTON, Owens Cross Roads; Mrs. Naomi BAKER, Oneonta; 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
