Flossie Sallie Mae Kee

Flocy Peters married Henry Henderson Kee, son of James Tann Kee and Jane Mason, on 15 December 1907. They lived in Occoneechee. They bought land near Henry Henderson's brother Joe Kee and built a 3 room house. Flocy was a hard working, religious woman who regularly attended Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Afer her husband's death in May 1925, she supported herself and her children by working as a day laborer on the local farms. She died at the age of 76 years on 24 October 1965 at the home of her eldest child, Isadora, on Route 2 in Seaboard.
