Aircraft: Hurricane HV907 Unit 615 Sqdn Airfield /Crash Location Feni, Burma. McMasters taxied on and continued down the runway intending to take off. After a shortwhile, F Sgt Oldham opened up and started to take off down the runway. The first aircraft had apparently trottled back and F SGt Oldhams machine crashed into it at a point near the Duty Pilots hut. it was quite dark at the time of the accident and only the navigation and tail lights of the aircraft were visible. Both pilots were taken to hospital. Oldham had superficial cuts and bruises. Sgt McMasters had many cuts and severe rib injuries. McMasters died two days later of injuries.
