The family of d'Aulnis, or Daunis, de La Lande was of Saintonge: seig neurs du Caillaud, Lomadé, etc. Captain Francois d'Aulnis de La Lande, o f La Rochelle, married Angélique Judith de La Lande, his cousin, daur. o f Pierre d'Aulnis de La Lande by his second wife, Angé1ique Boy-bellaud : he had previously married Henriette Boybellaud de Montacier, daur. of G eneral Henry Boybellaud.
