Lady Frances Clinton was the daughter of Sir Edward Clinton, 1st Earl of Lincoln and Ursula Stourton. She married Giles Brydges, 3rd Baron Chandos of Sudeley, son of Sir Edmund Brydges, 2nd Baron Chandos of Sudeley and Dorothy Bray, before September 1573. She died on 12 September 1623 at Woburn Abbey, Bedfordshire, England. She was buried at Cheneys, Bedfordshire, England. As a result of her marriage, Lady Frances Clinton was styled as Baroness Chandos of Sudeley before September 1573. From before September 1573, her married name became Brydges.
