About Frances Dysart
Notes
- The Dysart web page goes on to say;"We know of her (Frances Anderson) ancestry. Captain Charles Stuart went to Ireland with the Army of William III as an officer. He fought in the Battle of the Boyne (1690). He was either the father or the brother of a Frances Stuart who married William Scott of Hornhead Castle. Their daughter, Margaret Scott married Thomas Anderson and had three children. The two sons, Thomas Anderson and Joshua Anderson came to America and Frances Anderson married Samuel Dysart of Brook Hall. I wonder if either of you have tracked or tried to track the military records of an officer in the Army. Or even if the records are extant. (2)
