About Frances Goodman Sanderson
The date that Frances was granted her "orders-in-council" was 11/23/1825 which would imply that she was older than Deborah or Eliza and probably born around 1804 as indicated. However as noted elsewhere Jacobus' children are listed in this compilation in the order given on page 220 of Mr. Reid's book.
Frances' surname is shown as MEDDAUGH in William D. Reid's book " The Loyalists in Ontario". She was granted land by the Canadian government by an "order-in-council" dated 11/23/1825 in which she states she is the d/o James of Niagara. Volume 6, page 98 of "The Ontario Register" states a marriage license was issued to Alexander GOODWIN and Francis MIDDAUGH on 20 Oct 1828. It is believed this is a record of the marriage of Frances. The marriage license was issued by Robert Grant of Queenston.
