Mrs. Frances M. Ahles St. Clair - Frances M. Ahles, 85, of 5119 St. Clair Highway, died Sunday, July 4, 1982, in Faith Medical Center after a long illness. She was born Aug. 16, 1896, in Marine City, and lived in St. Clair for 62 years. She married Arthur W. Ahles April 24, 1920, in Marine City. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church; St. Clair. She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. William (Betty) Richter, Mrs. Robert (Rita) Gunn, and Mrs, John (Marilyn) Pegg, all of St. Clair; 12 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. A son, Loren A., died Aug. 24, 1980. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the L. C. Friederichs and sons Funeral Home, St. Clair. The Rev. Ted Menter of St.Matin's Lutheran Church, Port Huron, will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the St. Peter's Lutheran Church roof fund.
