About Frances Yorke
Disputed Origins
From Hugh Barnard Zichy Nankivell 10 May 2019
On the 'Geni' page for Frances Babthorpe, 'Geni' has recorded her father as being Sir William Babthorpe (i.e. the Sir William Babthorpe who was born in 1529 and who died on 1st. May 1581), and her mother as being Barbara Babthorpe (nee Constable) (who was born in 1531 and who died before 17th. October 1564) and also Grace / Ursula Babthorpe (nee Tyrwhitt) (who was born probably about 1583 and who died in 1635).
This Grace / Ursula Babthorpe (nee Tyrwhitt) was married to another Sir William Babthorpe (who was born in about 1580 and who died in 1635) and who was the eldest son of Sir Ralph Babthorpe (who was born about 1560 and who died on 2d. May 1618) and his wife Grace Byrnand (or Birnand) of Knaresborough, Yorkshire (who was born in about 1563 and who died on 10th. November 1623.
The Sir Ralph Babthorpe (about 1560 - 2nd. May 1618) referred to in the paragraph above, was the son and heir of the Sir William Babthorpe (1529 - 1st. May 1581) and Barbara Babthorpe (nee Constable) (1531 - before 17th. October 1564).
Thus, i my view (and opinion), Sir William Babthorpe (about 1580 - 1635) and his wife Grace / Ursula Babthorpe (nee Tyrwhitt) (about 1563 - 10th. November 1623) could not chronologically have been Frances Babthorpe's parents.
In my view (and opinion) Frances Babthorpe's parents were Sir William Babthorpe (1529 - 1 May 1581) and Barbara Babthorpe (nee Constable) (1531 - before 17th. October 1564). Frances Babthorpe's and her husband Thomas Yorke's son and heir was Sir John Yorke, who was born on 27th. January 1593.
I request that you consider the above, and, if you agree with my view (and opinion), consider amending the records of 'Geni' so as to reflect the correct parents of Frances Babthorpe. If you disagree with my view (and opinion) please let me know, so that we may have further communications to sort out this matter.

Table LIV For Grace / Ursula Tyrwhitt & Sir William Babthorpe, of Babthorpe[1]Male 1580 - 1635 as parents of Frances who married Thomas Yorke.
However https://wwtn.history.qmul.ac.uk/counties/details.php?uid=LA012 lists their daughter Frances as a nun:

Notes
Barbara Constable was born around 1525, the daughter of Sir Robert Constable and Catherine (née Manners). She married William Babthorpe around 1550 and died before 1564. William married his second wife, Frances Dawney that year.
William died in 1581 and died intestate (but see note below). A grant of letters of administration was made at the Prerogative Court of York on 8 June 1581.
T. Burton, The History and Antiquities of the Parish of Hemingbrough in the County of York, (1888) p.314, states that “Sir William, died in 1581, leaving a will, which does not now exist, in which he desired to be buried in his chapel at Hemingbrough, near the body of Barbara his wife.”
