Francille Fermon Spainhoward

Francile Fermon Ivie Spainhoward, 78, Henderson, died Sunday, July 22, 2007.

She worked as a private sitter for several local families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fermon and Carrie Ferrell Ivie; her husband, John B. Spainhoward, in September 1993.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Sue Spainhoward at home; eight sons, Donald "Spanky" Spainhoward at home, Steve Spainhoward, Jerry Spainhoward and Roy Spainhoward, all of Henderson, Paul Spainhoward of Spottsville, Tony Spainhoward and Terry Spainhoward, both of Geneva, and John Spainhoward of East Prairie, Mo.; two sisters, Mary Piper and Agnes Futch, both of East Prairie; a brother, Joe Ivie of East Prairie; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Rev. Bill Schwartz will officiate. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice, 2410 S. Green St., Henderson.
