William and Elizabeth Hoskins Jett's children were;

Francis, date of birth unknown, married Sarah Claxton or Saxton first, and Elizabeth Underwood Thatcher, widow of Sylvester Thatcher, who died in 1718. Francis died intestate, ca 1722 as indicated by the granting of administration papers on 8 Feb, 1723. (Francis is my line, and it continues through his son PETER JETT, and only known child, who is on another page. )

Per William A. Deyo, a Jett and Porch descendant: "...In fact, Francis Jett, who traditionally married Sarah Claxton or Saxton, lived on land in the same vicinity as the land of Chief Wahanganoche, last chief of the tribe. I strongly believe that Sarah was actually from the family of John Axton, a close neighbor of Francis Jett, and a man who lived on adjoining property to the old chief. The Axtons apparently were blood-related to the chief. Their name was often interchanged with Ashton and the old chief was very fond of one Peter Ashton (name sometimes written Axton), a man of the legislature, and gave him land and a gift (the identity of which has been lost due to the loss of the original books, but the abstract survived). Many of the Curtis family descends from the tribe, as well..."
