Francis Marion Noland

Francis Marion ("Frank") Noland was the son of Stephen Banks Noland and Elizabeth Ann Crittendon.

He married Priscilla Australia Owens, daughter of George W. Owens and Lucinda Freeman, ca 1885, likely in Camden County, Missouri. The couple had four children, namely:

George Lawrence Noland (1887-1965);
Stella May (Noland) Mitchell (1888-1907);
Marion Ellsworth Noland (1891-1982); and
Lawrence Talmage Noland (1893-1963).

Priscilla Australia (Owens) Noland was born ca 1865 and died ca 1895, both likely in Camden County. No documentation was found. The Camden County Courthouse burned down in 1902, and all of their records were destroyed. In 1931, the Camden County area electric company built a dam across the Osage River and flooded thousands of acres. Over fifty cemeteries had to be moved, and a number of small cemeteries that were located on family farms were never discovered. The Owens family was not found in the records of relocated graves.

Frank married Allie A. Green, daughter of James Green and (unknown), ca 1899, likely in Camden County; they were married until Frank's death. The couple had no children together.
