Found name Spelled Francis H Schearer as well this must be old world spelling of name.

On Front or Mill St. (now Arch St.) from Pine Alley to Walnut St. was the pottery of Jacob Bastian. He occupied that site from the late 1820's until his death on April 1, 1858. The pottery was then bought by William Freed and Francis H.
