OBITUARY. F. R. SKINNER.
The death took place on July 25, of Mr F. R. Skinner, 79, of Narrabri, at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. C. Wrigley, Kensington, Sydney, after a long and painful illness. He had been a resident of Narrabri for over 20 years coming from the Dubbo district where he followed farming pursuits. He was a native of Richmond and his father the late Mr. F. Skinner, was one of the pioneers of the Mudgee district.
He leaves a wife, one son and five daughters, Mr. Stan Skinner (Narrabri), Mrs. J. Mcintosh (Sydney), Mrs. C. Wrigley (Sydney), Mrs. G. Francis (Sydney), Mrs. L . Drury (Sydney) and Mrs. S. Bayliss (Wollongong). His remains were interred in the Methodist portion of the Field of Mars Cemetery, Ryde, Sydney, the funeral service being conducted by the Rev. J. Newman, and Rev. Bradshaw, late of Narrabri. The late Mr. Skinner was a quiet living unassuming gentleman, and respected by all who came in contact with him.
