FRANCIS BOND SWAYNE FUNERAL TOMORROW
Bishop MANNING to Conduct Rites for Lawyer
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30am tomorrow by Bishop William T. Manning at Trinity Church, Broadway and Wall Street, Manhattan, for Francis Bond Swayne, a retired lawyer, a son of the late U.S. Supreme Court Justice Noah H. Swayne and a brother of the late Gen. Wager Swayne, who died yesterday in his seventy-eighth year at his home, 960 Park Avenue, Manhattan.
Mr. Swayne was a prominent Episcopal layman, a graduate of Yale University and was well known as a railroad lawyer. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, and had lived in New York City since 1895. He retired from the practice of law twenty-six years ago. He was a member of the Yale, Century and University clubs.
Interment will be at Trinity Cemetery, Broadway and 155th Street, Washington Heights.
