Francisco Antonio Antonio Pedroso de Albuquerque

The mysterious Francisco who left Bahia in the 1850s to marry a German girl within months of his second arrival in England in 1856. Mary Jane Scott, Francisco's second wife,was 15 years old when she gave birth to John Pedrozo in 1865. In 1892 he married Agnes Simpson Catto and had two children with her He had nine children by three wives.Three children died aprox one years old.All wives died in their early forties. He was noted for being well dressed,had been well educated and had a liking for taking people to court.(an expensive hobby)His father was the famous Merchant and Chief of Itaparica Antonio Pedroso de Albuquerque,his mother's identity is unknown as was his status in the Merchant's household.
