About Frank Raymond Andrews
Andy McMahan writes:
Frank never learned to read or write. However, he did build quite a few houses in his life and was good with numbers, diagrams, and similar things. I grew up in one house that he built (which is still used today) and his wife still lives in the house that he built for them in the 1980s.
Frank primarily worked construction throughout his life. He also owned a small sawmill that he used for his own projects.
The Andrews family has always been plagued with problems of the stomach and similar organs. Frank was no exception; however, it was somewhat milder than his brothers and sisters in their later years. Basically, Frank just had to watch what he ate and be careful that everything was balanced. In the last 10-20 years of his life, he ate very little and not a great deal of variety: primarily grains and vegetables.
Frank loved to hunt and fish (fishing moreso than hunting) and used chewing tobacco through his entire life.
