Frank Farmer

Frank was born in Eastman, GA. His father was Jerry Farmer who was a sharecropper at the time of Frank's birth. Frank's family was poor but he never knew it because of wonderful family relatives and friends. Frank excelled at school and through hard work and determination he enter University of Georgia and received a Pharmacy Degree. He had a pharmacy in Dodge County and later moved to Hazlehurst, GA where he started Frank's Pharmacy and worked there for over 30 years.

He was an interesting man with many hobbies. He loved to fish, was an active aviarist and even had purple martins returning to his home place for over 30 years. He also loved to garden. He had one of the prettiest gardens in Jeff Davis County. He was a man of his word and high ethics. He was well loved by his family, friends, co-workers and clientel.
