Frank B. Barker, born April 12, 1870, deceased, was married to Fanny King on December 8, 1891. They lived in Nebraska for a short while and spent the rest of their lives in Manitoba, Canada area on a farm. Their children were Floyd, Buss, Eunice Stevens, Willard, Lucille, Homer, and Pat. Frank and Fanny were both buried in the Quincy Cemetery.

FRANK B. BARKER

Frank B. Barker was born April 13, 1870 at Corning, Adams County, Iowa and passed from this life October 31, 1956 at the age of 86 years, 6 months, and 18 days.
He moved to Clarks, Nebraska, in March 1905, and later in 1915 he moved to Canada.
December 8, 1891 he was united in marriage to Fanny King of Corning, Adams County, Iowa, at Carbon, Adams County, Iowa and to this union four sons and three daughters were born.
One daughter, Mrs. Fern Thomas of Clarks, Nebraska preceeded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Fanny;  four sons, Floyd of Rockford, Saskatchewan, Canada, Williard and Enoch and Milton of Oakville, Manitoba, Canada, and Elson of Carson City, Nevada;  two daughters, Mrs. Eunice Brady of Winnipeg, Canada and Mrs. Lucille Nauit, also of Winnipeg, Canada; three brothers, Theron and William of Corning, Adams County, Iowa, and Beach of Molalla, Oregon; 22 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, November 5, 1956 at 2 P.M. from the Roland Funeral Home in Corning, Adams County, Iowa, with the Rev. W. C. Carter in charge.
Interment was in the Quincy Cemetery, Adams County, Iowa.
Music for the services were furnished by Mrs. Delbert Leet and Mrs. May Beckerer, accompanied by Mrs. Hade DeVore, pianist.
Pall bearers were Kenneth Barker, Donal Barker, Jim Barker, Delbert Leet, Harold Cooley, and Fred Boswell.
Those attending the funeral from a distance were Robert Barker of Churchhill, Canada;  Mrs. Enice Brady and William McDonald of Winnipeg, Canada;  Willard and his mother, Fanny Barker, and Mr. and Mrs. Enoah Barker, and Bill Dunbar, all of Oakville, Manitoba, Canada;  Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Barker and son Frank, of Carson City, Nevada;  Mr. and Mrs. Frank Husted of Dexter, Iowa;  Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Stewart of Harlan, Iowa;  Mr. and Mrs. Donal Barker and Jane of Ottumwa, Iowa;  Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Barker of Lenox, Iowa;  Sam Love of Bridgewater, Iowa and Mr. and Mrs. Duane Heeren of Red Oak, Iowa.

FRANK B. BARKER, pioneer farmer of the Oakville, Manitoba, district, died Wednesday in Portage in Prairie General Hospital. Mr. Barker had farmed in the Oakville District for 31 years. Survivors include his wife, Frances, four sons, Floyd, Willard, Enoah-Milton, and Eldon, two daughters, Mrs. Eunice Brady and Mrs. Lucille Nault, 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Funeral services and burial will be held in Corning, Iowa.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Barker of Oakville, Manitoba, will celebrate their 63rd Wedding Anniversary, Wednesday, December 8, when a family reunion has been planned. The couple came from Clarks, Nebraska in March 1914 and have lived in Oakville 30 years. Their seven children are, Floyd of Lintlaw, Sask., Willard and E. Milton of Oakville; Eldon of Keno, Nevada, Fern, Mrs. J. P. Thomas, who died in 1914; Mrs. James Brady, Yale Avenue, and Mrs. Lucille Nault, Redwood Avenue. There are 24 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Both Mr. and Mrs. Barker are in good health and active. Mr. Barker is 84 years of age and Mrs. Barker is 82 years.
