Franklin J Corpe, 92, Indiana, died Thursday, March 7, at Scenery Hill Manor, Indiana.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at the Bence-Mihalcik Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 11. Interment will be in Traverse City, Mich.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Missionary Fund of the Indiana Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saines, C/O President Jerome Guskiewiez, 2441 Hilside Dr., Indidan, PA 15701.

Franklin Corpe

Franklin J Corpe, 92, Indiana, died Thursday, March 7, at Scenery Hill Manor, Indiana.

The son of Franklin H and Edna Emily Oliver Corpe, he was born July 10, 1903, in Menominee, Mich.

Mr Corpe was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Indiana. He was the prior branch president of the Traverse City, Petroskey and Gaylord, Mich., branches of his church. Prior to his retirement, he was a self-employed farmer in Traverse City, Mich.

Surviving are his wife, F Vera Riley Corpe; these children; Bernard J Corpe and wife, Mary, Lake Nettie, Mich; Donald M and wife, Dorothy Petroskey, Mich; stepson, Glen Craigie and wife, Sheila, Apollo Beach, Fla.; Stepdaughters, Gail Gibbs and husband, Dr Manton Gibbs, Indiana, and Mrs Michael (Sharon) Zollweg, Taylor, Mich; and stepson, Alan Craigie and wife, Victoria, Indiana; 25 grandchildren, including the following who live in the Indiana area; Rusty Gibbs, Teri Hoop, M. Tyler Gibbs, Spencer Gibbs, Toby Gibbs, Tia Gibbs, Mandy Craigie, Joshua Hersh, Jonathan Hersh, Sarah Craigie, and Daniel Graigie; 14 great-granchlildren; and one sister, Mrs Margaret Alto, Traverse City, Mich.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Lena A Button Copre; and infant daughter, Maxine; and 10 brothers and sisters.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, march 10, at the Bence-Mihalcik Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 11. Interment will be in Traverse City Mich.
