Frank G Ferguson
Parsons, W. VA- Frank G. T. Ferguson, 93, of Holly medows, died Dunday in Tucker county Hospital. He had been in ill health six months.
Mr Ferguson was born in Garrett County Md, a son of the late John G. and Martha (Thayer) Ferguson. Mr Ferguson was twice married and his first wife Janet (Dumire) Ferguson, died in 1902.
A retired farmer, he served on the first city council at Thomas. Mr. Ferguson was the oldest member of Parsons Methodist Church and Lodge 200, Knights of Pythias.
He is survived by his widow, Laura (Knotts) Ferguson; five sons, Jacob, Buckhannon; Hugh, Smithfield, Pa.; Ralph, Cumberland; Charles, Ravenswood, and Howard Ferguson, RFD 2, Parsons; a daugher, Mrs. Mildred Van Meter, Parsons; 15 grand-children and 14 great-grandchildren.
The body is at Greenlief Funerla Home where services will be conducted tomorroe at 2 p.m. by Rev. Meade Gutshall, pastor of First Methodist Church. Burial will be in Parsons Cemetery.
Ritualistic rite will be conducted at graveside by members of Lodge 200, Knights of Pythias.
