Franz Feigl (1899-1963), born in Prague, worked in his family's factory as a framer and was later assigned to Werkstatt L in Theresienstadt, where he also worked as apicture framer. According to a biography in this collection and corroborated by some of the documents, this work detail was instrumental in preventing the deportation of Feigl and hiswife Anna to Auschwitz. A biographical note in the collection also states that Feigl framed much of the clandestine art produced in Theresienstadt.
