About Franz Johannes Hennecke
Franz Hennecke along with his wife Grete (Nee Buddenberg) died on the eve of 12 Mar 1945 when 1069 British Lancs and Halifax Bombers conducted a massive air raid on the city of Dortmund. The "Hochbunker" (raised concrete air raid shelter) was struck and most of the occupants were killed.
