Freda was the last child born to Andrew and Amanda Gish. Mother said she was a tough kid evidently because her mother hemmoraghed and they literally threw her to the foot of the bed while they tended to Gramma. Both parents lived with Freda at the end of their lives. And both passed away in her home. |

Doris is the second child of Glen and Freda. Glen assisted in her actual birth. Doris was born August 12, 1932, at their home on Gish Road in Onalaska. Doris married Wayne DeBord on December 21, 1951. They had three children. Wayne was in the service and they lived in New Jersey, Germany, Texas and New Mexico before returning home to Washington in the Rochester area to live. |
