About Frederick Smith, 3rd Earl of Birkenhead

Frederick, Lord Birkenhead won the Heinemann Award in 1975 for his novel "William Wilberforce". He also wrote "The Amazon", published in 1970. On his death his titles became extinct. He died without marrying.
