About Fredrick Orville Watts
Fred Orville Watts, 82, died February 11, 1990, in a Salt Lake hospital. Born April 14, 1907 in Kanosh, Utah, to Charles William and Margaret Ann (Bird) Watts. Married Vie Carter June 23, 1930, in Parowan; solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Employed for many years by Utah Oil Company, Fred was an accomplished artist; he painted many beautiful pictures for family and friends. High Priest and active member of LDS Church, currently an active temple worker. He and his wife served on two missions, one in South Africa and one in Nauvoo, Illinois. He enjoyed traveling, and along with his wife, Vie, traveled throughout the states and many countries. Survived by wife; sons: Sidney Ronald, Kaysville; Charles William, Salt Lake City; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Ted, Olympia, Washington; sister, Mrs. John (Zelma) Hooper, Long Beach, California. Preceded death by his eldest son, Carter and his brother Taft. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February, 14, 1 p.m., Kanosh LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial, Kanosh Cemetery, under direction of Olpin Mortuary, Fillmore.
