About Friedrich Löwy
Strakonitz 28 July 1890
My dear siblings!
I can write today normal stuff - we are healthy and hope you are too. We received the letter from Moritz and I have sent the money to the aunt. She writes one letter after another and she doesn’t come to her senses. I will not continue to write her, it is a waste of ink. Now to her letter, one has to have a straight head - not the case with me because I have many worries. She remains a nutcase. Your letter, dear Yettchen is very nice. You do not have to be ashamed, we loved to read them ourselves. I send you my heartfelt thanks for your dear letter and please do not be so sparing with your letters. Now we greet you a thousand times and kiss you,
Your loving brother-in-law
Freiderich and the children greet you too and kiss your hand.
(This letter was translated loosely by the ladies at the FHL.)

(Could the “nutcase aunt” have been Karoline, Simon Lowy’s wife? The money that wat sent was from George Goodman.)
