Friedrich Oswald von Tschammer

BIOGRAPHY Friedrich Oswald was born in Dahse, Poland on 7 April 1636, the eldest son of Georg Ernst von Tschammer and Elisabeth von Sack. On 16 October 1667 at the family estate of Dahse he married Anna Helene von Stosch, daughter of Kaspar von Stosch and his second wife Ursula Marianne von Motschelnitz. They had nine children of whom only four outlived their parents. Georg Caspar, Ursula Mariane, Anna Elisabeth and Eva Helena all married and would have progeny.

Friedrich Oswald purchased the estates of Petschendorf and Schmögerle, and his wife brought her mother's estates of Blumen and Neudeck. After the death of her father Kaspar von Stosch in 1681, Anna Helene inherited his estates of Doberwitz, Weckelwitz and Skeiden (the latter sold in 1691 to Balthasar von Stosch). On the death without children of Anna Helene's half-sister Eva Helena von Schweinitz, Anna Helene and Friedrich Oswald inherited Gross-Nieder-Tschirne from her. Anna Helene died there in 1687. On Friedrich Oswald's father's death in 1690 he inherited Dahse. He died at Gross-Nieder-Tschirne on 15 July 1693.
