Frits Borgen

Second son of Dora de Bode.

He was marconist.

Born around 1900.

Els Borgen (niece) loved him very much.

Els received a postcard from Frits and Teo while they were travelling on a ship from Indonesia to Holland. They want Els to collect them which she did. She provided housing and from then on they were Frits and Teo for Els (not uncle saying).

Els lived with aunt Nita (Jacob Obrechtstraat). Nita was an aunt form friend Truus Mollinger (father was lector in University of Leiden), married with a very old man.

Nita asked Els to invite Frits (Teo was married and went elsewhere).

Frits was a single. Nice to say that Nita and Frits were very fond on eachother (very!).

Els stayed for one year and did not see Frits for a long time. On their next meeting Frits was very ill (throat cancer) and died soon.

Els is still very fond on Frits.
