Hi Randy, Many thanks for the very interesting photos. Geza was actually not my father's brother but his cousin. Their fathers were brothers. I had heard of Geza and knew his two sisters well, but never saw his picture. It is funny what children will remember: I was told by my parents that he went to war with his own horse (as many horse-owners did in those days), that the horse was brought back to his home after his death, and that the name of the horse was "Gelse". This is the German word for mosquito and I wondered, for years, why you would name your beautiful, powerful horse after a skinny, unpleasant insect. Only much later did I realize that it was likely named after the little town Gelse, in Hungary, where the Gutmanns originated and which became part of their name. Today is Maria's 95th birthday. I am wearing a skirt which she gave me for my 70th birthday. I thought that Maria's memorial was beautiful and it was so good to see everybody after a long time. Thanks again and best regards, Nelly
