   "Günter survived the disastrous SS Patria sinking at Haifa ,Nov. 1940.

   "Günter Roberg, and Lore de Beer met in Palestine, while they were both serving in the Jewish Brigade of the British Armed forces 1941-45  and were married ca.1946; then they lived in Kiryat Bialek during the rest of their lives."
