Gabriel Leggett was born on Sunday, 1 September 1743 in West Farms, Westchester County, New York. Gabriel married Bridget Allen on 7 February 1779 in Saratoga County, New York. In acout 1776, Gabriel settled on a farm near Stillwater, Saratoga County, New York with his father. He is listed on the tax rolls there is 1779 as well as his brother Isaac. He & his brother Isaac were the founders of the Society of Friend there.
Gabriel's wife, Bridget, died in February 1813 in Stillwater, Saratoga County, New York, leaving him a widower.
Gabriel married 2nd Rachael Lawrence on 11 December 1816 in Saratoga County, New York. Gabriel departed this life on Friday, 23 March 1838 in Stillwater, Saratoga County, New York.

Gabriel was born on 21 Sep 1743 (based on exact age at death).[1] He was the son of Thomas and Mary.[1]
Gabriel was received on request at the Nine Partners monthly meeting on 21d 8m 1778 [21 Aug 1778].[2]
On 17d 12m 1778 [17 Dec 1778], he married Bridget Potter, widow, daugter of Jedian and Penel. Allen at the Easton monthly meeting.[3][4]
Gabriel Leggett, son of Thomas of Saratoga, Albany County and Mary, his wife and Bridget Potter, daughter of Jedian Allen, late of Dartmouth, deceased and Tenel, his wife, married in Saratoga (Easton) Meeting 17th day, 12th month, 1778.

On 4d 6m 1823 [4 Jun 1823], he married Eunise Legget, daughter of David and Phebe Haigh at the Queensbury monthly meeting.[6]
He died 22d 3m 1838 [22 Mar 1838].[1]
