12 January 1550: Charter by which William Sempill of Craigbait confirms that he has sold to his brother german, Gabriel Sempill, and Gabriel's wife Margaret Lindsay, in conjunct fee and liferent, the five pound lands of old extent of Craigbait, in the parish of Kilbarchan and sheriffdom of Renfrew.
