About Gangadhar Nehru
Pt. Gangadhar Nehru who was appointed as the Kotwal of Delhi around 1845 by the last Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar. Pt. Gangadhar Nehru, son of Pt. Laxmi Narain Nehru was born in 1827 at Delhi and was educated at Delhi College. He was a stout and brave person, a good horseman and fencing expert.
