Garnet Lee Davis, 83 of Salem departed this life on Tuesday, September 4, 2018.
She was born at Bristol on April 20, 1935 a daughter of the late Harvey Law and Jeannie Oldaker Law Romine.

On November 7, 1953 she married Richard L. Davis Sr. who preceded her in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Vickie Lynn Wetzel and husband, Butch and Janice Lee Henrey and companion, Donald Layfield; three sons, Richard Dewayne Davis Jr. and wife, Donna , John Harold Davis and wife, Cindy and James Harvey Davis and companion, Tina Ash; son-in-law, Randall Allen Wetzel; 10 grandchildren, Chante Shaffer, Megan Davis Samantha Davis, Micha Ash Foster, Crystal Davis, Amy Cross Christy Lucas, Randall Wetzel, Davy Wetzel and Jana Wetzel; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Oney Law and several nieces and nephews.

She loved her k-9 friend Tanner.

One daughter, Sandra K. Wetzel; six sisters; five brothers and one great- grandson preceded her in death.
Mrs. Davis had worked for Harvey Glass Industries, Discount Trophy & Awards as a trophy maker, Moore's Restaurant and as a caregiver for many years. Garnet and her sisters made quilts for many years. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Gene Burnside presiding. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 2-8 p.m. Harbert Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Davis family.
