The funeral of Mrs. John Kroeze, who died at the family home on the Moran farm December 18th was held last Monday afternoon from the Baptist church under auspices of the Gospel Hall Congregation, Revs. Scott and Grier officiating. A large concourse of sympathizing friends were present and the service was impressive, the audience singing "Face to Face With Jesus," "Jesus Lover of My Soul" and "Say, Where is Thy Refuge." Following the service interment took place in Harwood cemetery, the pallbearers being Jas. McCauley, Geo Boland, Louis Hoy, John Tvelt, Peter Kazen and Sr. and Paul Tannis.
Deceased, whose death was due to influenza and whose burial was delayed pending the recovery of her husband from the same illness, was 44 years old. She was a good and faithful wife and mother being survived by her husband, four daughters and five sons.
