Gene Warner Gignac

Gene Warner Gignac, 81, passed away on July 15, 2018, at Jackson South Medical Center. Gene was born in Detroit, Michigan and graduated from Fordson High School in 1954. In 1960, he earned a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Miami. Gene also served three years in the Army, then settled in South Miami. His many avocations included tennis, singing in various community chorus groups, and supporting UM Volleyball. He is survived by a son, Sean Gignac; his brother, Keith (Grace) Gignac; two nieces, Michelle and Nicole; and a nephew, Marc.
