Genevieve D. Turner, 88, Waldron, died Sunday at Waldron Health Care Center.

Born May 10, 1910, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Benjamin and Ellen Hendrickson. She married Wilbur Turner, who died in December 1972.

Mrs. Turner was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Shelbyville.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. George (Judith) Mills, Edinburgh; one sister, Orpha Hammond, Waldron; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home in Shelbyville, with the Rev. Bob Weeks officiating. Burial will be in Van Pelt Cemetery, Waldron.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
