Biography

GEORG GUSTAV VON ADERKAS a. Tackfer und Sallajöggi was * 3 and bap. 7.vii.1699, Ksp. Poenal[1]. He was an Assessor, 1736; Hakenrichter, 1745; and Mannrichter, 1778[2]. He was presumably responsible for the construction of the fine baroque manor house at Sallajögi (now ruined) in the 1760s[3]. He and his fourth wife commissioned an altarpiece depicting Christ on the cross and the Last Supper for the parish church of Poenal in 1764, which painting has recently been restored and was exhibited at the Art Museum of Estonia, 2017-2018[4].

He oo (1) Helena Christina von Rohr who + 30.iii.1736, Ksp. Poenal[5]. He oo (2) Baronesse Gerdruta Margaretha von Taube who was bu. 25.iii.1739, Ksp. Poenal[6]. He oo (3) 23.ix.1740, Ksp. Hannehl, to MARGARETHA ELISABETH VON PISTOHLKORS, daughter of Johann Erik von Pistohlkors, who was bap. 2.iv.1722, Ksp. Hannehl[7]. She was bu. 5.xii.1748, Ksp. Poenal[8]. He oo (4) Johanna Helene von Güldenlohd, who was * 15.viii.1706[9].
