George Clayton

George Clayton was born on 29 June 1768.1 He was the son of William Clayton and Lady Louisa Fermor.2 He married Frances Hinchcliffe, daughter of Rt. Rev. John Hinchcliffe, on 22 September 1798.1 He died on 17 October 1828 at age 60.1

    George Clayton fought in the Low Countries Campaigns in 1793.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 3rd Fusiliers Guards.1 He lived at Stonehall, Surrey, England.1
