General George Saumarez1

    General George Saumarez was born in 1816.

He was the son of Thomas Saumarez and Martha Dobrée.
He married, firstly, Annie de Lisle.
He married, secondly, Louise d'Arcy Walters, daughter of Reverend Nicholas Walters.
He died on 4 July 1890, without issue.
General George Saumarez gained the rank of General in the service of the Indian Army.1 He was Seigneur of Sausmarez in 1873.
