About George Dill, Sr. (nee Doll)
George Dill, Sr. was born in Germany in 1728. He immigrated to the Colonies around 1756*. He served as a private in the French and Indian War in Capt. Rutherford's Company of the 4th Battalion of the Royal American Regiment, Frederick Haldmand, Esq. Colonel, Lord Geoffry Amherst, General Commanding. He was discharged in Montreal, Canada on Sept. 30, 1760. He was a member of the "North American Secessionist of 1776."
