Juho and his son Yrjö arrived in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada from Liverpool, England, traveling on the S.S. Empress of Britain on December 8, 1906. Destination Calumet, Michigan to Antti Paaso, Box 157. Brother and Uncle of Yrjö.
According to the death certificate of Yrjö (A.K.A. George) He was living on Ridge Street on Sept 7, 1920 while employed as a Drill boy in the Calumet and Hecla mine, when he was killed by falling down Number 9 shaft, from the 81st to the 82nd level.
