About George Washington King
Notes for George Washington King: Notes for George Washington King: George and his wife, Tabitha, first established their home in the Hancock County, TN region. After the 1850's he moved his family to Knox County, KY and then on to Jackson County, KY. Both George and Tabitha are buried in the King Family Cemetery in Annville, KY. George and Tabitha were one of the first families to settle in Jackson County, KY. They were also involved in one of the first churches to be established in the county.
